Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how DOTWORLD SA ("Dotworld", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Mindeva website (getmindeva.com), in the Mindeva quiz and checkout, and in the Mindeva web application (together, the "Service"). It complements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process your personal data more generally.
You can change your cookie choices at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet, phone) by a website you visit. It lets the website recognise your browser, remember your choices or measure how the site is used. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are first-party cookies; cookies set by another organisation whose technology is embedded in the site are third-party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain for the duration indicated below.
We also use technologies that work in a similar way and are covered by this policy:
- Local storage: information stored by your browser on your device, for example to save your quiz progress so that you can resume where you left off;
- Pixels (web beacons): tiny images or code snippets that tell us or a partner that a page was viewed or an action performed, used for analytics and advertising measurement.
In this policy, "cookies" refers to all these technologies.
2. Your consent and how to manage it
When you first visit the Service, a consent banner powered by CookieYes lets you accept all cookies, refuse all non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Strictly necessary cookies are set without your consent because the Service cannot function without them. All other cookies are set only after you have accepted them.
Your choice is recorded for 12 months, after which we ask you again. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops the setting of new cookies in the categories you refuse; cookies already placed are deleted or expire according to their duration, and you can delete them yourself from your browser.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings (block or delete cookies, receive a warning before a cookie is set). The help pages of your browser explain how: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from logging in, saving your quiz progress or completing a purchase.
3. Categories of cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)
These cookies are essential to provide the Service you request. They are used to:
- record your cookie choices (CookieYes);
- save your quiz answers and progress on your device so that you can resume the quiz if you close your browser;
- recognise you between the moment you enter your email address in the quiz and the moment you set your password after payment, so that your purchase is linked to your account;
- keep you logged in to the web application and secure your session;
- protect the Service against fraud and attacks (for example by our hosting provider);
- display the Service in the language of the address you visited.
3.2 Functional cookies
These cookies remember your preferences to improve your experience, such as the language you selected manually on the website and display preferences. Without them, the Service still works but does not remember these choices between visits.
3.3 Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how the Service is used: which pages and quiz steps are viewed, where visitors come from, how far they get in the quiz and the checkout, which lessons are completed, and where errors occur. We use PostHog for this purpose. The information is used in aggregated form to measure our audience and improve the Service.
If you refuse analytics cookies, PostHog runs in a cookieless mode: it still counts page views for the current visit but does not set any cookie or persistent identifier on your device, so that your visits cannot be linked together over time.
3.4 Advertising cookies
These cookies and pixels, set by our advertising partners Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and Google (Google Ads, YouTube), let us measure whether our advertisements lead to visits, quiz starts and purchases, and show you relevant Mindeva advertisements on these platforms. They may recognise your browser across websites. They never receive your quiz answers, your profile summary or your program data, only the fact that a page was viewed or an action (such as a purchase) took place. These partners may use the collected data for their own purposes, as described in their privacy policies: Meta, Google.
If you refuse advertising cookies, no advertising pixel is loaded.
4. List of cookies
The table below is kept up to date automatically by our consent management platform and reflects the cookies currently used on the Service, with their name, provider, purpose and duration.
For information, the main cookies and similar technologies used on the Service are:

5. Third-party cookies and your data
Third-party providers listed in this policy may process your personal data (such as your IP address or cookie identifiers) in the United States or other countries. The safeguards we rely on for these transfers are described in Section 7 of our Privacy Policy. We do not allow our providers to use the data collected through our Service for purposes other than those described here, except for advertising partners acting as independent controllers as explained in Section 3.4.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our consent banner is the primary way to express your choices. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and the law of your country requires us to honour it, we treat it as a refusal of advertising cookies. We do not otherwise respond to "Do Not Track" signals, for which there is no common standard.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies we use or when the law changes. The date at the top indicates the latest revision. Significant changes are notified through the consent banner, which asks for your consent again where necessary.
