Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Please read these Terms of Service carefully. They govern your access to and use of the Mindeva website, the Mindeva quiz and checkout, and the Mindeva web application, and they set out the conditions under which you can subscribe to, renew, cancel and obtain a refund for a Mindeva plan.
Key points at a glance (the full text below prevails):
- Mindeva is a self-guided personal development program. It is not medical care, therapy or a diagnostic tool.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Mindeva.
- Plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. The price, duration and renewal terms of each plan are shown on the Pricing page and at checkout before you pay.
- You can cancel at any time from your account or from our cancellation page. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- First purchase not for you? Contact us within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.
- Plans are sold by Dotworld. Payments are processed securely by our payment service provider, Stripe.
- These Terms are governed by Swiss law, without depriving you of the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
1. Who we are
Mindeva is a service operated by DOTWORLD SA, a company incorporated under Swiss law, with its registered office at Route des Flumeaux 40, 1008 Prilly, Switzerland, registered with the commercial register under number CH-550.1.161.731-3 ("Dotworld", "we", "us", "our").
You can contact us at any time at support@getmindeva.com or by post at the address above. Our Legal Notice contains the full details of the publisher and host of the Service.
2. Definitions

3. Acceptance of the Terms
3.1 How you accept
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. When you purchase a Plan, you accept these Terms by clicking the payment button on the checkout page, which is labelled to that effect. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms are available at all times on the Website in a format that allows you to print or save them. You are encouraged to keep a copy. Clicking a button labelled "Get my plan", "Continue", "I agree" or similar constitutes a valid electronic signature and a legally binding agreement.
3.2 Eligibility
The Service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract in your country of residence to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may not create an Account, take the Quiz or purchase a Plan. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will close the Account and delete the associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The Service is intended for your personal, non-commercial use. It is not designed for use by companies, health professionals or other organisations on behalf of third parties.
3.3 Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law, in our Service, in our payment or security arrangements, or to correct errors. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
If a change is material and affects your rights as a Subscriber, we will inform you at least 30 days before it takes effect, by email to the address on your Account or by a notice in the Service. If you do not agree with the change, you may cancel your Plan before it takes effect; your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Changes do not apply retroactively and never affect payments you have already made.
4. The Service
4.1 What Mindeva is
Mindeva is a personalised self-development program. You start with a short online Quiz about your situation, habits and goals. Based on your answers, Mindeva shows you a profile summary and proposes a program of short daily lessons and exercises, which you follow in the Web App once you have purchased a Plan. Lessons draw on well-documented approaches such as cognitive behavioural techniques, mindfulness and positive psychology.
The Service is delivered entirely online, in your browser. No download or installation is required. The features included in each Plan are described on the Pricing page and at checkout at the time of your order.
4.2 What Mindeva is not
Mindeva is not a medical service, a mental health service or a substitute for professional care. The Quiz, the profile summary and the program are provided for self-reflection, education and personal development only. They do not constitute a diagnosis, a treatment, therapy, counselling or medical, psychological or other professional advice, and they are not intended to prevent, diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
The profile summary and the scores, levels and labels displayed in the Service are general indications derived from your self-reported answers using predefined rules. They are not clinical assessments. Individual experiences differ and results are not guaranteed.
If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. If you are in crisis or think you may hurt yourself or someone else, do not use the Service to seek help: contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
4.3 Content generated with artificial intelligence
Parts of the Content, including lessons and translations, are produced with the help of artificial intelligence tools and reviewed by our team. Despite our efforts, AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies, approximations or errors. You agree to use the Content with judgement and to report any issue to support@getmindeva.com. Section 14 applies to your reliance on the Content.
4.4 Languages
The Service is offered in several languages. The language of the Service is determined by the address (URL) you use to access it. Some documents issued through our payment service provider, such as invoices, may only be available in English.
4.5 Evolution of the Service
We continuously improve the Service. We may add, modify or remove features, lessons and content, and we may run tests in which different users see different versions of the Service, including different offers. We will not make changes during a paid period that substantially reduce the core features of the Plan you purchased without offering you the possibility to cancel and obtain a pro-rata refund of the remaining period.
5. Your Account
5.1 Creation
An Account is created when you enter your email address in the Quiz. At that stage the Account only holds your Quiz answers, your first name if you provided it, and your language. It gives access to the profile summary and the offer page, not to the program.
After your first payment, you are asked to confirm your email address and to set a password. Your Account then gives you access to the Web App. You may also sign in with your Google account where this option is offered; your use of Google sign-in is subject to Google's own terms.
If the email address you enter is already linked to an active Plan, you will be asked to log in instead of taking the Quiz again.
5.2 Accuracy of information
You agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information and to keep it updated in your Account settings. Access to your program and all communications about your Plan, including receipts and cancellation links, are linked to the email address on your Account. We are not responsible for the consequences of an invalid or outdated email address.
5.3 Security
Your Account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your Account. Do not share your credentials or allow anyone else to use your Account. Choose a password of at least 8 characters that you do not use elsewhere. If you suspect unauthorised use of your Account, change your password immediately and notify us at support@getmindeva.com.
If you leave the checkout after paying without setting a password, your Account is not lost: use "Forgot password" on the login page or the link in your welcome email to set it later.
5.4 Closing your Account
You can delete your Account at any time from your Account settings or by writing to support@getmindeva.com. Deleting your Account does not by itself cancel an active Plan: cancel your Plan first (Section 8) so that no further payment is taken. Deletion of your Account ends your access to the Web App and to your program. Data retention after deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Plans, prices and payment
6.1 Plans
Access to the program requires a Plan. Each Plan gives access to the Service for an initial period, at the initial price shown, and then renews automatically for successive renewal periods at the renewal price shown, until cancelled. The available Plans, their initial period and price, their renewal period and price, and any introductory or promotional conditions are displayed on the Pricing page and, in a clear and legible manner, on the checkout page immediately before you confirm your purchase. The information displayed at checkout at the time of your order is the binding description of the Plan you purchase. These Terms deliberately do not repeat prices or durations, so that the checkout always shows you the current, applicable conditions.
An introductory period, when offered, is a paid access period at a reduced price. It is not a free trial. At the end of the introductory period, the Plan renews at the renewal price and period shown at checkout, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
6.2 Prices, taxes and currency
Prices are shown in the currency determined by your location and are inclusive of value added tax and similar consumption taxes, where applicable, unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout. The amount charged is the amount displayed at checkout. Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion fees or foreign transaction fees that are outside our control and are not refunded by us.
6.3 Promotional codes and offers
We may offer promotional prices, discount codes and time-limited offers. Their conditions (scope, duration, eligibility) are stated when they are presented. A promotion applied to the initial period does not apply to renewals unless expressly stated. Promotions are strictly personal, may be limited to one per person, and may not be combined. We may withdraw or modify a promotion at any time before your purchase; a promotion applied to a completed purchase remains acquired.
6.4 Payment processing
Plans are sold by Dotworld, which is your contracting party for every purchase and issues your invoices. Payments are processed on our behalf by our payment service provider Stripe (stripe.com), through Stripe Payments Europe, Limited (Ireland). Dotworld is responsible for providing the Service to you under these Terms and for handling your questions, cancellations and refund requests. After each purchase, we send you an order confirmation by email, which states the label that will appear on your bank statement, and your invoices can be downloaded from the Subscription tab of your Account settings.
You enter your payment details in a secure payment form provided by Stripe and embedded in our checkout page: you are not redirected to another website. Where your device supports it, you may also pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay. We never see or store your full card number: your payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe, which stores them securely to process your initial and renewal payments. Stripe's processing of your payment data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6.5 Authorisation of recurring payments
By purchasing a Plan, you authorise us to charge, through Stripe, the payment method you provided for the initial price and then, at the start of each renewal period, for the renewal price, until you cancel. You are responsible for keeping a valid payment method on file. Prices and dates of upcoming charges are shown in the Subscription tab of your Account settings.
6.6 Price changes
We may change the price of Plans for the future. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for. If the renewal price of your Plan increases, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the new price applies to your renewal, and you may cancel before the renewal date if you do not accept it. Continuing your Plan after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
6.7 Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge through Stripe over the following days and you may be notified by email. During this time your access may be limited. If payment cannot be collected, your Plan will be terminated and your access to the program will end. You remain liable for amounts due for periods during which you had access to the Service.
7. Duration and automatic renewal
Your Plan starts on the date of your first payment. It continues for the initial period, then renews automatically for successive renewal periods of the duration shown at checkout, at the renewal price shown at checkout, until you cancel. The renewal date and price are displayed at checkout before you pay, in your order receipt and in the Subscription tab of your Account settings.
You are informed of this automatic renewal before your purchase, and you may cancel at any time as described in Section 8. We may also send you a reminder before a renewal, without this being an obligation on our part.
8. Cancellation
8.1 How to cancel
You can cancel your Plan at any time, free of charge, without giving a reason, in either of the following ways:
- From your Account: log in, open Settings, then Subscription, and follow the cancellation steps; or
- Without logging in: open the cancellation page linked in the footer of the Website, enter the email address of your Account, and follow the link we send you by email.
You may also send your request to support@getmindeva.com; we will process it and confirm by email. Cancellation is confirmed by email. If you have not received a confirmation within 48 hours, contact us so that we can check the status of your request.
8.2 Effect of cancellation
Cancellation disables automatic renewal. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel before the renewal date shown in your Account. Your access to the program continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops. Amounts already paid for the current period are not refunded on cancellation, except under the 30-day money-back guarantee (Section 9) or where the law requires it.
8.3 Cancellation by Dotworld
We may terminate your Plan and your Account, with immediate effect and by notice sent to your email address, if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, in particular Sections 12 and 13, if a payment is reversed or disputed in bad faith, or if we are required to do so by law. Where the breach can be remedied, we will first invite you to remedy it within a reasonable period. In case of termination for breach, amounts paid for the current period are not refunded, unless the law provides otherwise.
We may also discontinue the Service or a Plan altogether with at least 30 days' notice by email. In that case, we will refund you the pro-rata share of any period you have paid for and not been able to use.
9. Right of withdrawal and 30-day money-back guarantee
9.1 30-day money-back guarantee
We want you to try Mindeva with confidence. If Mindeva is not for you, contact us at support@getmindeva.com within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full, whatever the reason. This guarantee applies once per person, to the first payment made for your first Plan. It does not apply to renewal payments, which you can avoid by cancelling before the renewal date.
A refund request under the guarantee also cancels your Plan. Refunds are issued by us, through Stripe, to the payment method used for the purchase, generally within 14 days of your request. Bank processing times may add a few days.
9.2 Statutory right of withdrawal (consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom)
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have by law a right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving a reason.
The Service is a digital service whose provision starts immediately after your payment. By clicking the payment button, you expressly request that the provision of the Service begins immediately and you acknowledge that, once the Service has begun to be provided with your express consent, you lose your right of withdrawal in respect of the fully performed part of the Service, in accordance with the applicable rules on digital content and digital services. In all cases, our 30-day money-back guarantee described in Section 9.1 gives you more time than the statutory period and a full refund of your first payment, without any pro-rata deduction. Nothing in this Section limits any mandatory right you may have under the law of your country of residence.
If you prefer to use the statutory form of withdrawal, you can send us a clear statement of your decision (for example, an email stating your name, the email address of your Account, and your wish to withdraw) at support@getmindeva.com or by post to DOTWORLD SA, Route des Flumeaux 40, 1008 Prilly, Switzerland.
9.3 Other refunds
Outside the cases above, refunds are granted where required by applicable law (for example under statutory conformity rules) or at our reasonable discretion. If you have been charged but do not see an active Plan on your Account, contact us with a screenshot of the transaction and we will investigate.
10. Legal guarantee of conformity
If you are a consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity applicable to digital content and digital services in your country of residence. Under this guarantee, we must provide a Service that conforms to the description given at the time of purchase and keep it conforming for the duration of your Plan, including through the necessary updates. If the Service does not conform, you may request that it be brought into conformity, and, where the law so provides, a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund. Any technical malfunction should be reported to support@getmindeva.com so that we can address it as quickly as possible.
11. Intellectual property and licence
11.1 Our rights
The Service and all Content are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws and are owned by Dotworld or its licensors. The Mindeva and Solance names and logos are trademarks of Dotworld. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership right to you.
11.2 Your licence
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of your Plan, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use the Service and the Content, for your personal and non-commercial use only, during the term of your Plan.
You may not, and may not allow anyone else to: copy, reproduce, download in bulk, record, distribute, publish, sell, rent, sublicense, translate, modify or create derivative works from the Content; share your Account; remove any proprietary notice; use the Content to train or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning model; or use the Content for commercial purposes, including to provide coaching, training or therapy to others.
11.3 Third-party components
The Service may include open-source or third-party components subject to their own licences, which prevail over these Terms for those components.
12. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and in good faith. In particular, you agree not to:
- use the Service if you are under 18 or on behalf of someone else;
- provide false information or impersonate any person;
- create multiple Accounts to benefit repeatedly from introductory offers, promotions or the money-back guarantee;
- access the Service by automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) or extract data from it;
- attempt to bypass any security, access-control or payment mechanism, or to obtain access without paying;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to discover the source code of the Service;
- upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, spam or unlawful content;
- interfere with the operation of the Service or overload our infrastructure;
- use the Service to build a competing product, or in any way that harms Dotworld, other users or third parties.
We may suspend or terminate access in case of breach (Section 8.3) and take any appropriate legal action.
13. User Content
13.1 Your answers and personal information
The Quiz and the Web App ask you questions about yourself, some of which may be personal. You decide what you share. You are responsible for the accuracy of your answers; the profile summary and program are only as relevant as the information you provide. The processing of your answers as personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
13.2 Licence to Dotworld
You retain all rights in your User Content. You grant Dotworld a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt and process your User Content to the extent necessary to provide, secure, maintain and improve the Service, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Where we want to publish a review or testimonial you have given us, we will ask for your prior consent and publish it under your first name or a pseudonym, as agreed with you. You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.
13.3 Feedback
If you send us suggestions or ideas about the Service, you agree that we may use them freely, without obligation or compensation, to improve the Service. This does not apply to your personal data, which remains governed by the Privacy Policy.
13.4 Prohibited content
You may not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, obscene, that infringes third-party rights or that contains personal data of third parties without their consent. We may remove such content and terminate the Account concerned.
14. Warranties and liability
14.1 Our commitments
We undertake to provide the Service with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with the description given at checkout, and to use reasonable efforts to keep it available, secure and up to date. Given the nature of the internet, we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times without interruption or error. We may suspend the Service temporarily for maintenance, updates or security reasons, and will try to limit the inconvenience and to give notice where possible.
14.2 No guarantee of results
The Service provides general information and self-guided exercises. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, improvement, result or change in your wellbeing, mood, habits or health. Any example, testimonial, illustration or projection shown in the Service is indicative only. You use the Content and apply the exercises under your own responsibility and judgement, taking into account your personal situation and, where appropriate, the advice of a qualified professional.
14.3 Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dotworld is liable only for direct damage caused by its breach of these Terms or by its fault. Dotworld is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, such as loss of data, loss of opportunity or non-material damage, nor for damage resulting from your breach of these Terms, from the acts of third parties, from your own equipment or internet connection, or from events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including failures of telecommunications networks, hosting providers or payment providers, cyberattacks, strikes, natural disasters, epidemics or governmental measures.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Dotworld's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the total amount you paid for the Service during those 12 months.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the mandatory law of your country of residence. If you are a consumer, you retain all the rights granted to you by the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country.
14.4 Your responsibility
You agree to compensate Dotworld for the direct damage, costs and reasonable legal fees it incurs as a result of a claim by a third party arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service, to the extent such damage is attributable to you.
15. Personal data and cookies
We process your personal data as data controller in accordance with our Privacy Policy and use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Both documents form part of these Terms. In short: your Quiz answers and Account data are used to provide and personalise the Service, they are never sold, and you can access, correct or delete them at any time.
16. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on third-party providers, in particular for payment (Stripe), hosting, email delivery, analytics and customer support, as listed in our Privacy Policy. The Service may also contain links to third-party websites or resources. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, terms or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its own terms.
17. Communications
We communicate with you by email at the address on your Account and through notices in the Service. Service emails (receipts, renewal and cancellation confirmations, password and email changes, important notices about the Service or these Terms) are necessary to the performance of the contract and cannot be opted out of while you have an Account. Marketing emails are sent only in accordance with the Privacy Policy and contain an unsubscribe link. Please add support@getmindeva.com to your contacts to ensure you receive our messages.
18. General provisions
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the information displayed at checkout at the time of your order, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dotworld regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreement.
Assignment. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to an affiliated company or to a successor in the context of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, provided that your rights are not reduced. We will inform you of any such transfer. You may not assign your Account or your Plan to anyone else.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the invalid provision is replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to its purpose.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Language. These Terms are drafted in English and made available in other languages for your convenience. In case of inconsistency between versions, the English version prevails, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
Evidence. The records kept in our systems and in those of our payment partner (order data, timestamps, IP addresses, acceptance of these Terms) constitute evidence of the transactions between you and Dotworld, unless proven otherwise.
Survival. Provisions which by their nature are intended to survive termination (in particular Sections 11, 13, 14, 18 and 19) remain in force after the end of your Plan or Account.
19. Governing law and dispute resolution
19.1 Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Service are governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer residing in a country of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or elsewhere, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection granted by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, which continue to apply.
19.2 Talk to us first
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@getmindeva.com, describing the issue and the email address of your Account. We aim to respond within 24 hours on working days and to find an amicable solution with you within 30 days.
19.3 Out-of-court dispute resolution
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr and you may contact the alternative dispute resolution body competent in your country. Dotworld is not obliged to and does not currently commit to participate in alternative dispute resolution procedures before a consumer arbitration board, but remains available to resolve disputes amicably. If you are a consumer residing in Switzerland, you may refer the matter to a recognised Swiss mediation body.
19.4 Courts
Subject to mandatory rules of jurisdiction, any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the courts of the place of Dotworld's registered office in Switzerland. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence, and we may bring proceedings against you only before the courts of your place of residence, in accordance with applicable law.
